How to move off AutoDS and keep your listings live

1. Step 1 of 5: Write down what AutoDS does and costs you

   In AutoDS, open Settings › Plans & Add-ons. Each selling channel has its own plan card there. Write down your eBay plan and every add-on you pay for.

   Add-ons sit on top, by AutoDS’s pricing page. VA access is $14.97 a month, and so is the product finding hub. Each automatic order also uses at least one auto order credit, bought on top. Billed yearly, plans cost up to 25% less.

   Then write down the jobs AutoDS does for you each week:

   Find each tool’s plan for your listing count in the tables above. But a move costs more than the new plan. For about a month, you pay both tools while you test. And AutoDS has no product export, so you may link listings to suppliers by hand, as step 3 shows.

   In this example, the new tool saves $46.80 a month. The move pays for itself only after the test month is covered. Here that takes 2 months. If the new tool costs more than AutoDS, move for a job it does better, not for the price.

3. Step 3 of 5: Save your records before you cancel

   In shortWhile AutoDS still runs, download your listings and orders, and copy each listing’s supplier link.

   AutoDS’s help center says its Products page has no export. Its eBay help adds that no file holds the supplier IDs with the eBay item numbers. So you build that list yourself, before you cancel anything.

   1. Download your active listings. In Seller Hub, open Reports, then Download › Download report, and choose Listings. The file lists each listing’s item number and Custom label.
   2. Export your AutoDS orders. On the Orders page, click the Export icon and confirm your email. You get a CSV file of the orders that match your filters, so clear the filters first.
   3. Copy each listing’s supplier link. On the Products page, customize the table’s columns to show the Buy Item ID, or open each product’s Variants tab. Paste each ID next to its item number in your listings file.
   4. Write down your price rules. Note your markup, your minimum profit and what happens at zero stock. They do not move with you.

   AutoDS’s cancel article says it has no export for products or order data, and to copy what you need by hand. Open your files and check them before you cancel.

   Result: One file with each listing’s item number and supplier link, plus your AutoDS order history.

4. Step 4 of 5: Connect the new tool to the listings you have

   In shortImport your live listings into the new tool, test 25 for a week, and let one tool run each listing.

   Your listings live on eBay, not in AutoDS. They keep their sales history as long as they stay live. Connect the new tool to them. Never end them and list again.

   eBay’s duplicate listings policy allows only one fixed price listing of an identical item at a time. AutoDS’s own eBay help warns that a new listing loses the old one’s visits, search ranking and sales history.

   Then set your price rules again in the new tool, before it changes any price. Make each rule cover eBay’s fees and your ad rate. The eBay fee calculator shows the fees on any price.

   Move a small group first. Hand 25 listings to the new tool for a week, and check three things on eBay itself:

   • One price changeThe supplier’s price moved, and your eBay price followed your rule.
   • One stock-outThe supplier ran out, and your eBay quantity dropped to 0.
   • One orderFrom the sale to tracking on the eBay order, within your handling time.

   Result: 25 listings on the new tool, checked on a price change, a stock-out and an order.

5. Step 5 of 5: Cancel AutoDS without losing photos or orders

   In shortCheck photos and open orders, cancel before the billing date, then remove AutoDS’s access on eBay.

   Your listings stay on eBay when you cancel. AutoDS’s cancel article says they are no longer connected or monitored. Check these first:

   • PhotosImages you added through AutoDS “may no longer be hosted” after you cancel. Open the listings whose photos came through AutoDS. Upload any photo again on eBay before you cancel.
   • Open ordersAll automation stops at once. Orders waiting for automatic ordering are not placed. Place them yourself, or wait until none are open.
   • The billing dateCancel before your next billing date to stop the next charge. Need more time? A pause stops billing for up to 30 days and keeps your data.

   Then pick the right cancel. Cancelling only the eBay channel deletes its stores, products and orders at once. Cancelling the whole account, in Settings › Account & Billing › Manage/Cancel Account, keeps your data for 14 days.

   Last, remove AutoDS’s access on eBay. In Account settings, open Sign in and security, then Third-party app access. Select AutoDS and revoke it.

   Result: AutoDS cancelled before its billing date, your photos on eBay and its access removed.

How Productivo compares with other AutoDS alternatives

Listings stay live, and each counts once toward your plan.

The two tools do different jobs, so these prices are not like for like. Productivo’s checks, repricing and Auto Buy work only with Amazon products: the sourcing eBay’s rule covers. For stock from a wholesale supplier, it has no supplier connection. You add the items by hand or by CSV, and it publishes them. After that, you change their price and stock on eBay.

Where another tool fits better: several sales channels (AutoDS or Hustle Got Real), many suppliers worldwide (AutoDS), AliExpress ordering (DSers), a wholesale supplier feed (Inventory Source), or research alone (ZIK Analytics).
