How to find a seller on eBay
In shortStart from what you have: an item, a username or a search.
Every seller has one username. eBay builds their pages from it. Find the username, and the tool above opens the rest.
- From an itemOpen the item. The seller’s name is in the About this seller box, with their feedback and the items they sold. Seller’s other items there opens everything they list. You can paste that link into the tool too.
- From a usernameType it into the tool. You can also go to ebay.com/usr/ followed by the username. That is their profile.
- With Advanced SearchOpen eBay’s Advanced Search. Under Only show items from, choose Specific sellers and type the username. Add words to search only their items.
What each page tells you
In shortFive pages per seller. Sold items needs you to be signed in.
One seller, five pages
| Page | What you learn |

| Items for sale | Everything they list now. Filter by category, price, condition or Buy It Now. |
| Sold items | What sold and for how much, over about the last 90 days. eBay asks you to sign in. |
| Completed items | Every listing that ended, sold or not. |
| Feedback | What buyers wrote about each order. |
Check a seller in five minutes
In shortBefore you buy from them or price against them, read four things.
- Feedback percent and countA high percent from a few orders says less than the same percent from many.
- When they joinedOn the profile. Compare it with how much they sell.
- Where they ship fromThe location on the profile and on each item. It changes delivery time and shipping cost.
- What sold, and what did notCompare Sold items with Completed items. The eBay sell-through rate calculator turns the two counts into a share.
Selling the same item? Their sold prices show what buyers paid, not what sellers ask. The guide to eBay sold listings shows how to read them. To see which items sell across eBay, read best selling items on eBay.
What it cannot tell you
In shortThe tool builds links. eBay decides what each page shows.
- eBay.com onlyThe links open the US site. Other eBay sites use their own domain.
- About 90 days of salesSold items goes back about 90 days. Older sales need eBay’s Product Research in Seller Hub.
- No private detailsThe tool sees nothing that eBay does not show on the seller’s public pages.
Common questions
How do I find a seller on eBay?
Find their username, then open their profile. The username is in the “About this seller” box on any of their items. Type it into the tool above to open their profile, items, sold items and feedback.
How do I see what a seller has sold?
Open their items with Sold items ticked. The tool’s Sold items link does this. eBay shows about the last 90 days and asks you to sign in.
How do I search one seller’s items?
Add words in “Only items matching”. The links then search that seller’s items only. In eBay’s Advanced Search, the same is Specific sellers plus your words.
Can I look up a seller by email?
No, this tool works from the username. eBay’s profile and search pages are built from it. Use the name in the item’s “About this seller” box.
Is this eBay seller lookup free?
Yes, with no account. It runs in your browser and only builds links. Nothing you type is sent or saved.
How Productivo helps
In shortFollow the cheapest competitor, never below your minimum.
Looking a rival up by hand works for a few items. Productivo’s competitor pricing watches the same item’s competitors on eBay for you. It moves your price with the cheapest one and stops at your minimum price.
It works on products imported from Amazon. Items you add by hand or by CSV keep the price you set.
