The closest options first
For each Amazon category, the nearest eBay categories are found first. Each one shows its full path and eBay category ID. AI reads them and picks the one that fits, or none when nothing does.
- New Amazon categories are matched every 5 minutes
- Unmatched ones wait on the eBay tab for a choice
- Choose a parent level to cover its subcategories

Matched once, for every store
Every product in a matched Amazon category, now and later, lists in the same eBay category. Products are never classified one by one from their titles.
- Each match shows who made it and how many products use it
- Search the matches, or filter them by source
- A product with no match yet is not published

Ask for a change
Think a category is wrong? Request a change or a removal from the match itself. It opens a support case, and an admin applies the change for everyone.
- Requests go to Support with the match attached
- Only admins change a saved match
- Products with an unreadable Amazon category are fixed on the Amazon tab

Item specifics come with the category
Turn on the Category column in Products to see each product’s eBay category. At publish, eBay asks for that category’s required item specifics. Productivo fills them from the product’s Amazon details.
- Hover a category to see its Amazon and eBay paths
- Required ones like Brand, Color and Size come from Amazon
- Other Amazon details fill the rest, up to 25 in all

Where the eBay category finder helps
Importing a large Amazon catalog
You don’t pick a category for each product. Products in the same Amazon category share one match, so new imports under a known category need no category work.
DropshippingSelling in a new Amazon category
Import from a category you have never sold in, and it is matched in the background. Its products wait unlisted until then, so none go up in the wrong place.
Avoiding a refused listing
eBay only takes listings in a bottom-level category. Every saved match is one, so your products don’t fail at publish over a parent category.
Running more than one eBay store
A match made once serves all your stores. You never set up the same category twice for a second or third store.
Listings buyers can filter
eBay buyers narrow results by item specifics like Brand and Color. Your listings carry the ones the category asks for, filled from Amazon, plus more of Amazon’s details.
Listing your own stock
Adding an item by hand? Search all eBay categories in the product form. The form then asks for the item specifics and condition that category needs.
